When it comes to being a blogger, it’s important to remember who you are in order to differentiate yourself from other bloggers in your niche. There are so many fashion blogs, lifestyle blogs, travel blogs, beauty blogs etc. and it’s so easy to get wrapped up in what everybody else is doing.
However, there is one easy way to differentiate yourself from the others:
I started this blog about a month ago. The only subscribers I have are a few of my family members and I have slightly over one hundred followers on my Instagram. Let’s just say I have a long way to go with no clue at what I am doing ahaha.
One part of blogging that I really have no experience with is photography. I have yet to find a camera that suits me and there is such a large variety of cameras and lenses to choose from that it can get overwhelming.
So, I took to Instagram and asked 52 of my favorite bloggers, “What camera do you use?”
That’s when I realized that kindness might be more important than content. Basically, every article that I’ve read about blogging states that content is the most important part of a blog. Which is true. I don’t deny it. You have to entice readers to click on your photo or post in some way. However, how do you keep your readers/followers?
You could create the best content out there, but better than creating great content is creating great content AND responding to your fans. Especially when they ask for advice. No matter how many followers you have.
So, here is a list of my favorite bloggers based on their content and the fact that they were humble and kind enough to help their girl out 🙂
Angy was the first person to answer my question. I absolutely love her Blog. It’s as simple as that. She’s based in Milano and always knows how to capture the beauty of Italy and any other place she goes. She’s classy and sexy at the same time. Only few people can pull that off.
Not only is she a cutie pie, but Alexandra also has whopping 1.5 million followers on Instagram. I can tell she is a very busy lady with her blog, Instagram, clothing line and YouTube channel, (I hope I didn’t miss something haha) so the fact that she answered me was a pretty great feeling! I don’t know what it is about her, but she makes you feel as though she’s your best friend.
Sara is another one of my favorites because she always finds ways to be creative. Every one of her photos is different and unique in their own way making it impossible to get bored! I mean, how cute is that photo with the lollipop?! Yes, you can be my Minnie!
4. Louisa Brueg, Instagram: @Louisabrueg
I don’t believe Louisa has a blog, but that doesn’t mean she’s any less interesting. She’s the type of lady you can’t help but follow around and wonder, “What will she do next?” I would keep my eye on her if I were you.
Emily is awesome. When I asked her what camera she uses she sent me a direct link to a post she wrote on her blog about exactly what cameras she uses haha Could it get any better than that? It was so in depth and it helped a ton! Can I just say how much I love that photo with the pumpkins? I think it’s my favorite photo in the history of photos. Yes, that is possible.
Being a mother doesn’t have to be boring! Not only does Marie portray the beauty of Paris, but she also portrays the beauty of femininity and being a mother. She proves that, yes, we can do it all!…And look great while we do it.
7. Diletta Amenta, Instagram: @Dilettamenta
Diletta doesn’t have a blog, but her Instagram is all she needs. She’s 100% Siciliana and doesn’t let anyone believe differently. She exudes pure Sicilian beauty and is able to make a wall look gorgeous!
There’s one word for Christina’s blog: Art. The Scarlett Door depicts the true blessing of being a mother and having a family. Christina is a great inspiration for expecting women and mothers…but watch out…She’ll make you want to have babies hahaha!
9. Carolina Diaz, Instagram: @Linasgv
She’s got the look! Carolina’s Instagram is just plain old cool. Her photos are flawless and they’re all taken with just her iphone! I don’t know I must be doing something wrong. I guess some people just have it hahaha.
Caroline looks like she lives in a magical fairy tale. Not only is she flawless, but her life looks picture perfect. Haha get it? 😉 She is the perfect example of finding your dreams through Instagram. I, like her at one time, do not know where my life will take me, but she continues to inspire me to have faith in my dreams. If she can do it, I can do it.
Lisa has a way of not just exploring, but inspiring you to go on an adventure. She can capture a moment, that’s deeper then just a picture and has a way of making the simple moments look so exciting. She inspires me to take photos outside of my comfort zone. Thank you.
You think you’re creative? You don’t even know the meaning of the word until you check out Dominique’s blog. She’s able to take such simple items and turn them into a wonderland. She covers subjects from her personal life to DIY projects and I can tell from her response to my message and her blog that she is truly an honest person who just wants to help others.
Katherine knew she had a talent for photography when she was young and her experience shows! She takes photos ranging from fashion to nature. I love them because each one is so different from the other, making her portfolio broad. I’m never bored and she always surprises me!
Laura’s blog, Purses & I, is part of the top 10 most popular blogs in Italy! Laura is the type of lady that can pull of essentially any outfit from sneakers to heels. She isn’t afraid to experiment with trends and proves to young women that you can have brains and beauty. Yes, Laura has a law degree and peruses her dreams in fashion.
Miren’s style is one of a kind. It’s so simple and so feminine. All I have to say is that I wish I could go shopping in her closet ahaha Her photos are so clean and bright it’s like a breath of fresh air every time she posts a picture.
I guess you can say my blog looks much more colorful than ever before now hahaha! Thank you to these lovely ladies who have inspired me to spread the kindness.
Thank you for reading and don’t forget to subscribe!
